This Privacy Policy describes how Printely Connect, operated by Samrat Subedi & KhatraTech Pvt. Ltd. ("KhatraTech"), collects, uses, and safeguards information when you install, access, or use the Printely Connect software and services. It should be read together with the End User License Agreement and the Proprietary Software License.

Information We Collect

We focus on diagnostic and operational data necessary to deliver a reliable printing experience. Depending on how you use Printely Connect, we may collect:

• Usage statistics: anonymized feature adoption, printer status, and throughput metrics used for capacity planning.
• Performance and error diagnostics: crash reports, stack traces, connection metadata, and logs that help us investigate incidents.
• System configuration: printer firmware details, OS version, and integration identifiers to ensure compatibility.
• Support interactions: messages or attachments you send to our support channels when requesting assistance.

We do not collect receipt payloads or customer PII processed through your printers unless you explicitly share that data with support personnel.

How We Use Your Information

• Improve feature reliability, speed, and ergonomics across desktop and API surfaces.
• Provide customer support and investigate bugs, outages, or security events.
• Develop new integrations, automation flows, and compliance tooling.
• Generate aggregated insights to inform product decisions—always without selling personal data.

Usage analytics may be processed using trusted infrastructure vendors that meet our contractual privacy and security requirements.

Data Security & Storage

KhatraTech employs application-level encryption, access controls, and secure network boundaries to protect diagnostic data. While no system can guarantee absolute security, we continually harden our infrastructure, rotate credentials, and monitor for anomalous activity.

Data is retained only as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described above or to meet legal, regulatory, or contractual obligations. When data is no longer required, it is securely deleted or anonymized.

Third-Party Components & Transfers

Printely Connect may rely on third-party or open-source components. Each component is governed by its own license and privacy terms, which are detailed in our documentation and THIRD-PARTY-LICENSES register. Where third-party processors are engaged, they operate under strict confidentiality and data-processing agreements.

Your Rights & Choices

• Request access to the diagnostic data associated with your organization.
• Ask us to correct inaccurate information or delete diagnostic data where permitted.
• Disable optional telemetry within Printely Connect (note that functionality may be limited).
• Terminate your license at any time by uninstalling the software as outlined in the EULA.

Policy Updates

We may revise this Privacy Policy to reflect feature updates, regulatory changes, or operational improvements. The "Last Updated" date will change accordingly, and significant updates may be communicated through in-app notices or email.
